Do I need map sources to install the map 2010.30 to my sd card? In the 2010.20, I used the map sources to install the map to sd card. So I could chose all states of US ( include Mexico and Canada).

Does this maps 2010.30 have all states of US and Canada?

2010.30 has all the states and canada--
download the unlocked image-
winrar it-
rename it to gmapsupp.img -
copy it to the garmin directory of your sd card--
remove the old map---

Unfortunately it is too big to go on my Nuvi 200 1gb of internal memory
I have never used the SD card slot. Can I just get a 2 gig sd card and put the file on it and have it work? (Renamed gmapsupp.img)
I was all exited to put the new maps on my Nuvi tonight....rats.

some nuvi 200 are only 1gb most are bigger--
they come with sd or mini sd slots-

i can't make the map it any smaller untill i have a mapsource version--with that i can export only what will fit on a nuvi 200--

4 gb would allow merging of many maps in the future but 2 gb will hold any single mapset..

My Nuvi 200 comes with only 1G internal memory. So I put a 4G SDHC in the SD slot and it works great.
