AUDI A4 Navigation DVD

Hi

i downloaded the Audi Nav 2008 RNS-E - 2 DISCS ! version i found in the forums here.

i tried burning that into a DL dvd disk....but once i put that in the navigation system it just says insert navigation dvd.

can anyone give me pointers to how to make it work? I have 2005 model Audi...does that not support the 2008 disk?

Even with a poorly burned disc it should at least update to 0650 sw
Could you have a MMI system that does not accept RNS-E disc's?

I got the same message trying to use a the Europe DVD in my North American RNS-E unit. Does anyone have the 2008 RNS-E North America DVD?

it will not work on audi "made in america" cars
the firmware is 0100
and only 0450 0550 0650 is firmware for europe

you will have to go on the service car to flash your firmware

i try and doesn't work with usa cars
