Hi Thanks for the links. I got an H610, so had to modify the sys.txt a bit to get the orientation and touchscreen right. All you do is replace the specific lines in sys.txt with those lines from sys.txt present inside the device

The problem with H610 was that it will not show up in my computer. I had to replace the mio transfer with the hacked version. Now the hacked version can only transfer files, it cannot transfer folders or even create any folders (well it will create the folder but u cant name them, so it will cancel).

If anybody knows a way to create folders or even how to transfer the folders to the device, it will be really helpfull

Only miomap.exe, miomap.exe.id, license.db and data.zip. Not the full version, this is the small pack to upgrade from a previous one.

Not sure which Mio Transfer you're using, so try to download New Mio C220 on my website and use Mio Transfer from that package. Hope it works for you ;-)

Update: No way...the mio transfer for c250 doesn't detect the H610.... I had tried this hacked transfer earlier and didn't find any success.... thats when I got the generic hacked mio-transfer...which partially worked...Thanks, I will try......seems like a H610 doesn't have a good fan base (or user base)......:o

Ok, sys.txt needs more editing for H610...

Pedestrian mode doesnt work...had to change the value from 1 to 0
if not the mio map will close with an error "Failed to open file:
mio/common/daylight/pedestrian.bmp
exiting application." and a text file will be generated named "firefly_error.txt" in the root.

So sys.txt edited to change the value of "show_pedestrian=1" to "show_pedestrian=0". Also deleted the "firefly_error.txt" from root. Now pedestrian option works ...

Hope this will help the few users of H610 out here....

Since rapidshare limits file to 100 mb, I had to delete the 2007 canadian maps from the original rar and re-compress...so this is the same rar minus the canadian maps.....

If u need,, u can easily download the canadian maps individually and put in the maps folder along with the basemaps.fbl............

Sice i installed this version, my PNA clock started to show a wrong time (about nine hours away from the real time). It seems like I am in a wong timezone. May it be because I live in Europe? Does anybody knows how can I fix it?

P.S. Sorry for my poor english. If somebody helps me I promise to do a new English course.;)

go to the GPS menu and you will see there something like " synch with time" (something like that) just push that button and youre time will be corrected AUTOMATICLY as soon as you have GPS signal, so you can better do that when you have signal and the device will do the rest by himself

create a folder on your sd card called MAPS

any map you put there will be loaded upon a hard reset.
