I bought a 7" double din am/fm /MP3/DVD/ TV/ GPS,, that currently uses Guider4u w/ U.S. maps... they SUX!! it will only display sections of the roadway if you zoom out too far,, ie.. it wll show I-70 stoping at the Ohio/Penn boarder and will not redrawl till you get accross the state line.. it will do this with county lines,, major rivers, ect..

my questions are this:
1. will tom tom work on this sys?
2. I'm a newbee to GPS but not a computer dummy,, so some directions on how to do this would be nice.. ( if it can be done)
3.the head unit allows you to "browse" to the gps software root directory, but the current software in on a 1gb sd card, which is a deadcated slot for the GPS. So I can use the DVD for other things w/out having to remove the GPS disc, and wait for a reboot and/or no be able to swtch back and forth from DVD to gps ( yes I want it all!!! LOL )

THanks in advance for the help
Jeff

from what I been reading here and other sites, at this moment your GPS's core have to be WinCE 5.0. They have not released yet for GPS with WinCE 4.2 core.
If your GPS is on WinCE5.0 then you can try this thread
