IGo 8.0.0.x ( cracked software...) comes with a world wide licence, it works for all countries.How come you have a "wrong" licence ? There are no Australia/New Zealand maps for 8.3.x series.

There are no maps. Use 8.0 (R1) series.

I have un Mio MOOV330 and I managed to unlock it and install IGO 8.3.2.6487. I use map of France 2008.07. (I tried few versions)
Almost everything works OK but I encountered a very strange behavior when I select some cities, for example: Erstein, Illkirch-Graffenstaden, Schiltigheim - in Strasbourg area, but many others in the rest of France.
The problem is: I tap in the name of the city but after that the street name box is disabled and I can't choose the street.
If in place of city name I introduce the cod area (67400 for Illkirch-Graffenstaden) than I can write the street name as usual.
I'm absolutely sure that France is covered 100% by TeleAtlas, and the the maps I used until now with Miomap and IGO were perfectly accurate.
I tried a few versions of maps and different versions of IGO 8.3.1 and 8.3.2 but the problem persist and I suspect that the application is the problem (possibly in the scripts from data.zip).
Has anyone encountered a situation like this?
Has anyone a version of IGO 8.3 that works OK?:confused:

3.Use default skin and color scheme to start and see if it works.

I did not copy from original MIO, I thought I could but cant find anything pertaining to them. I think I understand a little more based off your comment that they are embeded in the maps themselves. I had downloaded the canada.rar only, I will try the ROOTEI download and see what it has.

My friend gave me a GPS and it has IGO my way 2006 plus, but there are 9 US states missing. I have downloaded all the maps including the 9 states that are missing. I copy them to the SD-->maps then insert the SD card back to the GPS, as soon as I run the GPS, it said some of my maps are out of dated.

Does anyone know if there are other voices that can be used on a Becker Z101 running Z200 software. I've got hold of the voices from Tom Tom software but cannot convert the file type to use on the Becker, I dont want to use Tom Tom software though.

Every map has a name, ending with .fbl (like Portugal.fbl, France.fbl, ...)
Every map you put in the folder content/map

A file ending on POI (like portugal.poi) you put in the folder content/poi
A file ending on 3dc or 3dl (like Portugal.3dc or Portugal.3dl), .you put in content/building.

If any more questions, ask!

Hi,

I was having trouble entering POI's in iGO8 for my Mio C310X. Somehow, I was able to enter a category in "My POI" and within it one entry with an address. I cannot duplicate that and cannot enter a second entry with an address in that category.

Mio's navigation it seems has an easier way of selecting "Home" as a destination and I was able with extreme difficulty enter my POI's. Also it was easier finding the "My POI's" icon in the Mio navigation. But.... I do like iGO8.

Did you place your map into device memory and it does not show up? Is this what you did? And it did work before, iGO found your map on your sd card? Correct?

You need to know that the content folder, where in a sub folder for maps, needs to be one folder and ONE folder only. So replacing your map only is not enough.

I am thinking about updating my GPS today, and have downloaded the latest files, but I noticed that the Building contains only the files .3 dl files and on my GPS, there are both .3dl and .3dc files. What is the .3dc files? Should I keep them?

The building files ending in .3dc are 3D building and the .3dl are 3d landmark files. I hope this is clear. If the files are newer then yours, you should replace them.
