burn speed for bmw nav discs

just a quick question, why does the bmw nav discs need to be burnt at the slowest speed? my burner only goes down to x4, i did the bussines nav 08-02 at x4 and it works fine but just wanted to ask anyway:rolleyes:

Well, I think it is just the safest way to burn any cd/dvd without errors, it isn't just about bmw dvd's.
