It works.........:)I recorded the DVD's with Alcohol120% and Verbatim 8,5GB DVD+R DL and with Pioneer 116D 1.09ver on 2,4x speed.

Everbody should buy Pioneer DVD...It is very good...:)

what kind of settings i have to set?

Version: Audi.Navigations-DVD-Rom.fuer.RNS-E.Version.2008.GERMAN-SHooTERS

I have recorded the Software with Alcohol120%, Verbatim Verbatim 8,5GB DVD+R DL, Recorder: Pioneer 116D on 2,4x speed.

DVD in the navigation system put, this updates begins. after a pair of minutes this restarts gets. then appears again an update message. The navigation system switches off itself all at once.
After a few minuten I have turned it on, the software update on 0650 was successful, the Navigations dvd this accepts does not get.


What have I made wrong??

Did you mark in the recording menu the DVD+r,DVD+rw as DVD-ROM,while burning?

Try so...It should work....

The software version of Pioneer 1.09....

Or you can record The WEST Europe DVD with Clone CD...

And you should also set the speed to 2,4% in the DVD data type setting Menu by DVD-COps and By Normal DVD in the recordings option...

Do you know which navigation disc will fit Audi A6 1999, looks like this ([Only Registered Users Can See Links]). The unit is Navigation Plus (CD).

You will need a Travelpilot Non DX CD.
The support for your system was discontinued in 2006 and the latest software (final) is 2007.

The Non DX or as they were called TravelPilot-C CD's use a very antique database format that has not been in use since 1999.
Therefore the support was stopped in 2006. For countries like Germany you need 3 cd's which is really stupid to today's standard.
The CD are almost never posted since nobody wants these systems anymore

If you will take the trouble to take an account with a payserver and use a newsreader, you may download all European CD's except France from usenet

I already downloaded those Teleatlas files (travelpilot DX), but they don't seem to be of the right format and the CD I burnt isn't working. I insist on the fact that my MMI has a smaller monochrom display (no maps appearing on the screen, just indications).

I have the original CD for France (under Siemens copyright) and it contains only a few files (6 I think) unlike the teleatlas/Blaupunkt CDs which contain lots of maps. I fear my system is quite rare .... :(

If you have any further idea, please let me know! :)
